About the role
As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you'll be responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who will provide the tools and support needed for your success and career development.

Location: Fenny Lock
Hours of Work: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a 2-week rota:
* Early shift Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00
* Lateshift Week 2: 13:30 - 21:30
Salary: £31,500 - £44,200 annually, plus shift premium. This role attracts a shift premium of 20%, potentially earning up to £6,300 extra annually, making the total potential earning up to £50,500 with shift allowance. Overtime is a premium benefit but not guaranteed.
Eligibility: Applicants must be over 18 due to the nature of the role.
About the Role
* Maintain our fleet of large HGV lorries to a safe and roadworthy standard, complying with VOSA and Partnership requirements.
* Complete inspections, services, defect sheets, and ensure all documentation is up to date.
* Apply best practices and current repair techniques to deliver high-quality, cost-effective repairs using appropriate spare parts and consumables.

Essential Skills
* City and Guilds 1, 2, 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proven experience in transport commercial vehicle repairs
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness standards
