We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful and well-established automotive company based in Ilkeston, who are looking to add an experienced Vehicle Parts Advisor to their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous automotive or motor trade experience who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and working within a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Vehicle Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting both retail and trade customers while ensuring workshop operations run efficiently. You will be joining a busy parts department where organisation, communication, and customer service are key.
Responsibilities
1. Assisting customers with vehicle parts enquiries
2. Identifying and ordering correct vehicle parts
3. Supporting workshop technicians with required parts
4. Processing orders, invoices, and stock deliveries
5. Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
6. Delivering a professional and efficient customer experience
7. Working closely with the wider team to support daily operations
About You
8. Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or within the automotive industry
9. Strong customer service and communication skills
10. Good knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive systems
11. Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
12. Organised with strong attention to detail
13. Good IT and administrative skills
14. Full UK driving licence preferred
