Pay & Hours:
We offer a rate of £12.71 per hour for our Shop Supervisors. The working week consists of 39 hours over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to suit your needs.
Job Role:
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our dedicated team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items in line with our standards, while providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for advancement.
You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervise the team, and work to increase sales, control costs, and ensure profitability. You will also help develop and lead the team to build a loyal customer base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet customers and create a welcoming environment
* Receive and check daily deliveries
* Assist with stock and produce management
* Maintain shop displays
* Have excellent product knowledge
* Prepare food according to specifications
* Ensure food and produce quality control
* Maintain high hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
* Work efficiently within a team
* Handle cash and operate tills
* Open or close the shop as required
* Manage shifts at various times during the week
* Drive sales and minimize wastage
Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required. Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
