About the Role
Cinelab Film & Digital is seeking a Workflow Technician to join our dynamic team. With exciting projects on the horizon, we are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced post-production environment.
The Workflow Technician will support the management and execution of digital workflows across a range of productions. Working alongside our Head of Workflow and Dailies Supervisor, you will help configure and maintain project pipelines, assist with client-specific requests, and ensure accurate preparation and tracking of media through the lab.
You’ll also support the setup and dispatch of remote lab equipment packages, helping to ensure clients receive reliable, well-prepared systems that integrate seamlessly with our internal processes.
This is a technical and operational role that requires precision, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
* Assist in setting up new projects within the lab’s systems.
* Help design and manage processing pipelines for a range of camera formats.
* Respond to and action technical client requests and delivery requirements.
* Prepare and test remote lab equipment for deployment to client locations.
* Manage file conversions, metadata tracking, and media organisation.
* Perform quality control checks and support internal project handovers.
* Document workflows and contribute to process improvements where needed.
* Rendering editorial and viewing media.
* Applying LUTs and CDLs based on production notes and instructions.
* Archiving and managing data efficiently.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
* Strong understanding of file formats, codecs, and camera media.
* Familiarity with Avid workflows, editorial prep, and digital media handling.
* Technically capable and confident using industry-standard tools.
* Reliable, organised, and attentive to detail.
* Clear communicator and able to work as part of a team across departments.
* Some experience or education in post-production or film workflows.
* Familiarity with Avid and DaVinci Resolve is essential.
* Experience in a post-production, DIT, or lab environment.
* Working knowledge of colour workflows and dailies processing.
* Experience with file-based QC, asset management, and remote kit setups.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* High attention to detail and ability to focus on technical tasks.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
