BMW Group UK is looking for a Retailer Data Integration Manager. As Retailer Data Integration Manager, you will be responsible for the essential linking of data between our retailer network partners and the BMW Group. Using the latest developments in digitalisation, this role will play an active part in creating a seamless OMNI channel sales and aftersales process for our customers and retailers. You will also play a very active role providing business insights from data which will drive business performance and customer satisfaction.
This role is based at Summit One campus in Farnborough, Hampshire.
What awaits you?
* Ensure that there is an effective two-way data strategy that supports the company's customer and network requirements.
* Manage the scoping and development of key data interfaces between the BMW Group and UK Retailer Network and approved system vendors.
* Responsibility for the day-to-day operation of these key data interfaces between the BMW Group and the UK/Ireland franchised retailer network.
* Actively monitor the status of retailer network data exchanges and interfaces. Identify issues with function or performance and coordinate rectification measures.
* Effectively liaise with key dealer management system vendors, retailer network and any other significant network system suppliers.
* Supervision of inhouse and externally supplied Business Intelligence solutions. Apply common business tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation.
* Play an active role in presenting data and subsequent conclusions across the business.
* Develop materials & resources promoting correct data supply & best practice. Plan & coordinate training requirements & resources requirement for programme and system roll outs.
* Ensure the timing of system/interface replacements or changes, and the sequence of implementation is effective to minimise impact on business-as-usual.
* Ensure all in scope data interfaces, api's and data transfers are compliant with Group Data security policies.
* Provide updates on programme progress to relevant stakeholders across the business.
What should you bring along?
* University degree, or equivalent, preferable in Business Administration and Management, Mathematics, Data/Statistical Analysis.
* Experience of managing data or business process projects.
* Knowledge of data handling/transfer solutions including Application Programming Interfaces.
* Understanding of modern data analysis and visualisation methods, e.g Power BI
* or similar.
* Experience in the automotive industry (sales, marketing) would be beneficial.
