SIOP Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Lowestoft, UK
Department: Operations
Reporting to: Site Manager
Contract: Fixed‑term (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000
Key Responsibilities
Planning, SIOP & MRP
* Own demand, capacity and production planning across the site.
* Manage the MRP system and associated physical planning processes.
* Process sales orders and manage demand forecasts.
* Collaborate with the global SIOP team to align plans with demand.
Data, BOM & Materials
* Maintain accurate BOMs, including SMV creation and updates.
* Check material availability and manage substitutions where required.
* Ensure WIP accuracy and manage product discontinuations.
Performance & Reporting
* Manage and report KPIs including customer service, sales, capacity and plan adherence.
* Prepare clear, concise updates and presentations for site and wider stakeholders.
Financial & Compliance
* Process invoicing accurately and on time.
* Ensure import/export documentation and certifications are accurate and compliant with legislation.
Stakeholder & Leadership Responsibilities
* Drive clear communication across operations, supply chain and commercial teams.
* Act as a member of the local Leadership Team, contributing to site performance.
* Prioritise routine and unexpected tasks and provide ad‑hoc operational cover when required.
Health, Safety & Security
* Champion a strong health and safety culture.
* Support emergency response activities.
* Ensure site security procedures are followed, including opening and closing the site.
Skills & Experience
* Strong, practical experience of MRP and production planning.
* Advanced IT skills, including spreadsheets and planning systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* FMCG or manufacturing planning experience (desirable)
