Motor Vehicle Tutor
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, (37.5 hrs per week, Mon-Fri)
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP36,000 per annum, pro rata (depending on experience & qualifications)
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Tutor based in our Wolverhampton centre. No prior teaching qualification is required, as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a passion for working with young people and sharing their vocational expertise to support learners in developing valuable skills for their future careers in the Motor Vehicle industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan individual learning to meet learner needs, with lesson plans linked to Schemes of Work (full training provided).
2. Deliver Motor Vehicle qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3 in classroom or workplace environments (training provided).
3. Undertake pastoral duties and support learners through academic or personal challenges.
4. Plan, prepare, and deliver vocational sessions alongside other qualifications.
5. Assess learners' work regularly according to awarding body and Ofsted CIF criteria.
Requirements
1. Relevant vocational and industry experience in the area of delivery.
2. Level 3 vocational qualification or evidence of occupational competence.
3. GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in literacy, numeracy, ICT skills.
4. Effective communication skills across various audiences (verbal, written, ICT/media).
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
