Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: Reading, London
Salary/Benefits: 25k - 38k DOE, including Training & Benefits
This small private company is eager to develop and further grow within the legionella compliance sector. Hence, they are on the lookout for a Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber who can hit the ground running with basic water hygiene duties such as acid descales and temperature monitoring. Ideally candidates will hold the plumbing qualification and able to undertake a range of remedial plumbing duties. This company is based in the South East and can offer competitive salaries, impressive packages and other benefits like overtime.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Advantageous to hold NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent plumbing qualifications
- Suitable having experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer and some remedial plumbing skills
- Comprehension of ACOP L8 and HSG 273 guidelines
- Follow company procedures, meeting targets and keeping to deadlines
- Able to use IT software to produce reports
- Hardworking and keen to learn
- Initiate professional conversations with clients and offering technical knowledge
The Role:
- Descales and disinfections
- Basic remedial plumbing like valve replacement and pipework installations
- Flushing and dead leg removals
- Water sampling
- Chlorinations
- Temperature monitoring
- Working on hot and cold-water storage tanks
- Servicing, replace and repairs for TMVs
