We reach the customers other comparison sites struggle to find.

The Role

Based in our Norwich Head Office, we have a great opportunity for a talented Business Development Executive in the Moneyfactscompare.co.uk digital team.

The Moneyfactscompare.co.uk website has multiple opportunities to sell advertising space to new and existing clients. Advertisers provide us with links to their products to be included in our tables and articles. We then present these to our 400,000 consumer visitors every month and they can decide if they want to click through to the site and find out more.

Broadly, most deals you will be selling are cost per click, cost per application, cost per call and cost per sale. There are more opportunities to sell display advertising and advertorial in our weekly eNewsletter Weekend Moneyfacts.

This role is part of a dynamic and fun organisation that has been around for over 35 years.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic, friendly, and tenacious individual who will create and build new relationships with bank and building society clients and their media agencies. You will relish meeting and beating sales targets.

You should be digitally savvy and will be comfortable talking with marketing directors to marketing executives, digital advertising teams, affiliate managers, media planners at agencies and will be confident in putting together sales proposals.

As well as working with great people, you also have the opportunity to earn sales bonus on top of your basic salary.

Key Responsibilities


* Identify new leads for advertising deals and contacting these across phone, social channels and email.
* Build relationships with finance providers, keeping in touch regularly.
* Negotiation of rates as required to convert deals while meeting minimum income standards.
* Focus and understand how much revenue the business category is generating.
* Ensure commercial contracts are signed and up to date.
* Use of Sage CRM and daily contact reporting.
* Achieve personal revenue targets as part of the wider team business plan.

Knowledge And Experience

* Demonstrable sales experience in digital sales.
* Familiar with using CRM systems.
* Commercial understanding of how affiliate and digital advertising deals work.
* Previous experience developing your own sales plans.
* Ideally experienced using CMS tools.
* Understanding of sales best practice and techniques to open and close conversations.
* Knowledge of financial services market.
* Appreciation of affiliate marketing.
* Understanding and experience using Google Analytics.

* Self-motivated to find new opportunities for revenue.
* Comfortable negotiator to get deals over the line.
* Excellent written, presentation and communications skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers at all levels
* A flexible individual and a willing attitude to get the job done.

Salary

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, plus targeted sales bonus.

Hours

Full time 35 hours per week Monday-Friday

Fully office based with some UK travel on occasion
