If so, then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our business support teams within Business Support in Birmingham City Council. As a Business Support Officer, you will be supporting a range of areas undertaking a variety of work with a focus on Adults Social Care. You will have previous skills and experience in high level administration. Every day is different in our business and your role will include utilising your skills, abilities and experience to complete a range of administrative tasks supporting and working within our Executive support team in providing a service for some of the most vulnerable citizens in Birmingham. You will need to be able to combine your skills and abilities with that of team-work skills to complete tasks, be flexible in your approach, work to tight deadlines and timescales and communicate effectively. You will be working exclusively on the Pure project which is part funded by the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). The Pure project is an employment support programme designed to support the most vulnerable of our city to secure employment, education and training opportunities. We are looking for someone who has a passion to support others and is committed to making a difference to people’s lives. You will support external and internal stakeholders and undertake core administration functions of the Pure project including data verification and data entry of eligible participants onto a CRM which is used as the Case Management System for all Pure participants. This is a fixed term role until March 2026 with the possibility to extend. You will be required to work in a hybrid way, supporting a blend of in-office and remote working, dependent on business need.
