We are looking for an experienced salaried GP to recruit, working 4-8 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for theprovision of medical services to the practice population, delivering anexcellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medicalpractice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading byexample, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Our team is currentlycomposed of 2 GPs partners, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate and a Trainee Nurse Associate, 2 Healthcare Assistants and a full team of Administrators. Job responsibilities Role Overview
The post-holder will work as part of the clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a primary care setting. The role involves managing a wide range of clinical presentations, supporting continuity of care, and contributing to the overall development of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
Provide safe, effective, and autonomous clinical care to patients presenting with a wide range of undifferentiated health concerns
Assess, diagnose, and manage patient conditions, including those presenting without a prior diagnosis
Deliver consultations via face-to-face, telephone, and home visits as appropriate
Undertake triage and prioritisation of patient requests in line with practice protocols
Manage and action clinical workload including test results, prescriptions, correspondence, and patient queries in a timely manner
Prescribe appropriately in accordance with local and national prescribing guidance
Identify risk factors and support early diagnosis and prevention of disease
Develop and review personalised care plans in partnership with patients
Provide health promotion and education to support improved patient outcomes

Work in line with practice policies, clinical guidelines, and governance frameworks
Maintain clear, accurate, and contemporaneous clinical records in line with agreed standards

Fully qualified General Practitioner with Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent
Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise

Evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation (where applicable)
Current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Current CPR and anaphylaxis certification
Eligible to work in the UK (including work permit where required)
Evidence of ongoing continued professional development (CPD)
Additional postgraduate qualifications, diplomas or specialist interests
Interest or experience in teaching, mentoring, or research
