Agricultural Engineer Salary: From £17.00 per hour (circa £37,000 per year based on 42 hours) + Overtime

Corby Barker Ross is recruiting for hands-on Agricultural Maintenance and Irrigation Engineer roles within a growing agricultural engineering business in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with mechanical experience and irrigation knowledge to join a practical, varied, and long-term role.
You will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, inspection, and repair of agricultural machinery and irrigation equipment, including:
Water pumps
The role is mainly workshop-based, with occasional travel across the UK to customer sites for breakdown support during peak seasons.
Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults
Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills
Full UK driving licence
Engineering qualification (Agricultural, Mechanical, or similar)
Basic hydraulic or electrical knowledge
Welding or fabrication experience
Forklift licence
Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00
