International Service Technician Shift: Day shift
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Comprehensive benefits package
They are seeking a skilled technician to join their international service team. This role focuses on setting up and testing automation equipment before shipment, commissioning machinery at customers’ overseas sites, and training operators and maintenance staff on equipment operation.
Duties - International Service Technician
Setting up and testing the company’s complete range of machinery.
Conducting final assembly and testing of equipment prior to inspection and dispatch.
Installing and commissioning machinery at customer locations.
Training customer personnel at various levels, both at the company’s facility and overseas.
Undertaking extensive global travel, including weekends when necessary.
Ensuring accurate completion of all machine-related documentation.
Identifying opportunities for process, productivity, and quality enhancements and reporting to management.
Building strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Qualifications and Requirements - International Service Technician
Strong mechanical skills with proven experience in mechanical assembly and fault diagnosis.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings.
Basic knowledge of electrical control circuits.
Familiarity with PLC machine controls.
Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally with flexible working hours.
Compliance with required vaccinations, inoculations, and blood tests for international travel.
