Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum with associated benefits
The Role
Middlesex Cricket, based at Lord's, is responsible for cricket in the county, from Men's and Women's professional teams to recreational cricket for all ages within the 17 London Boroughs that form the county of Middlesex.. Reporting to the Director of Cricket, and the Head of Medical Services, and working in conjunction with other professional cricket support staff, the successful candidate will be expected to help deliver exceptional physiotherapy services for Middlesex Cricket, primarily working with the women's team. The successful candidate will also be expected to work with the Boys Academy and Pathway and the professional men's' team as required.
Principal responsibilities:
* To work as part of the Science and Medicine team to deliver exceptional Medical and Physiotherapy services to all of Middlesex's professional players and it's pathway.
* The role will primarily involve providing physiotherapy services to the Women's team, working closely with the Women's strength and conditioning coach.
* The job will involve match day and training cover including weekends and evenings. During the cricket season the role will involve travel and overnight stays with the team.
* Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure that the playing group receive exceptional and appropriate all-round support, specifically around injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
* Delivery of appropriate and consistent testing and monitoring of players in line with ECB guidelines
* Support the delivery of successful ECB audits for both Middlesex Cricket
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* A chartered physiotherapist or Sports Therapist
* Ability to build strong working relationships with players, and coaching and support staff
* High degree of organisation and ability to prioritise workloads
* Experience working with a sports is desirable
* Desire to challenge themselves and those around them in the pursuit of excellence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Up-to-date DBS check will be required (assistance can be provided)
* Full, current UK driving license
