You will provide a reliable, flexible and professional emergency response service, delivering excellent standards of emergency support and urgent care, to enable individuals to remain within their own home. The work is varied and fast paced but very rewarding. The post will predominately involve working in service user’s homes and travelling between, the work base will be Barrhead Health & Social Care Centre. The successful candidate will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or be eligible for registration from commencement of employment. This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
