The Role:
We are currently seeking a hands-on, ambitious, and sales-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team in Warwick. This position presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress to Depot Manager and play a significant role in our ongoing growth and success.
Candidate Requirements:
· Previous experience in the Plant, Tool, or Access hire industry is essential.
· Success in prospecting and sourcing new customers.
· A genuine passion for providing clients with the best advice and service.
· Must possess confidence, reliability, and ambition.
· Experience in managing staff.
· Experience in Health and Safety policies and practice.

Job Description:
Depot Operations Management:
· Identify new business opportunities and develop strong customer relationships.
· Focus on maximising depot performance.
· Supervise and co-ordinate daily depot activities.
· Plan and schedule equipment to optimise availability and utilisation.
· Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety standards.
· Monitor and manage inventory, replenishing stock as needed.
· Collaborate closely with and support other depots.
Customer Service:
· Deliver exceptional service both in-person and through phone or email.
· Assist customers in selecting equipment and tools suited to their requirements.
· Respond to enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Staff Supervision and Training
· Recruit, train, and mentor depot staff.
· Promote a positive and motivated work environment to enhance productivity and teamwork.
Health and Safety:
· Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices.
· Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with protocols.
· Provide safety training to all staff and monitor adherence to guidelines.
Equipment Maintenance and Repairs:
· Coordinate maintenance and repair to ensure all equipment is in optimal condition ready for hire.
Hours of work: Mon - Fri 7.30am - 5.00pm.
