Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiasticJunior Project Engineerto join our Kent-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of building services or electrical engineering who is keen to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will be enrolled on aHNC, fully funded by Primech Building Services, alongside gaining hands‑on project experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Project Engineers and Project Managers in the delivery of building services projects
* Support with project planning, documentation, and technical drawings
* Assist with procurement of materials and coordination with suppliers
* Attend site meetings and assist with site coordination activities
* Support quality control, health & safety compliance, and commissioning activities
* Help track project progress, costs, and variations
* Carry out basic engineering calculations and technical support tasks
* Develop knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Basic electrical knowledge or exposure to building services
* A keen interest in engineering and construction
* Willingness to study towards a HNC
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Desirable:
* GCSEs / A-Levels / BTEC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject
* Some site or office experience within construction or engineering
* Basic understanding of M&E systems
