Rate: £12.21 per standard hour.
Shift hours are 7:00-4:30 (15 minutes paid break in am, 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Shifts Mon-Fri (to be discussed on a weekly basis 4-5 shifts available weekly)
Our Client has an immediate start for someone to join their busy Industrial Laundry.
No experience required as training provided on the job but they do require a candidate who is self-motivated and enthusiastic.
The Role:
As a Laundry Assistant, youll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. No previous experience is required, as we offer full training. Youll be part of a supportive team, where your hard work and dedication will make a real impact on the service they provide.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort, wash, press bed linen, and fold towels to our high standards
Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently
Assemble, prepare, and pack orders for delivery
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the workflow is smooth and timely
Carry out manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and moving laundry items
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Be able to work well as part of a team
Be physically fit and comfortable with manual work, including lifting and bending
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines
Have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to work consistently.
