* Salary: £39,805 to £49,023 (depending on experience)

Job Details
Under the guidance of Professor Trevor Graham, we are seeking a Data Scientist to support Data Science research across the ICR. The successful candidate will focus on analyzing spatial data, including multiplex immunohistochemistry, H&Es, and spatial transcriptomics.
About You
The successful candidate must have:
* A PhD in a quantitative subject, or be near completion; equivalent research experience will be considered.
* An undergraduate degree, Masters, or equivalent in a quantitative discipline.
* Skills in bioinformatics, computing, and coding in languages such as R, Python, or others as appropriate.
* Experience using high-performance computing (HPC) systems for scientific computing.
* Experience with computational biology research methodologies relevant to the role.

The Data Science Committee, chaired by Professor Trevor Graham, provides academic leadership in data science at the ICR. The committee aims to maximize the impact of cancer research by applying innovative data science and computational tools to address key questions and ensure appropriate infrastructure.
