We are currently working with a growing broadband provider who are expanding their installation teams across various locations in the Highlands as they continue to roll out fibre to rural communities. This is a great opportunity for someone hands‑on, customer‑focused, and looking to build a career in fibre - full training can be provided.
The Role:
You'll be working on the front line, installing fibre connections directly into customers' homes and helping bring high-speed broadband to rural areas. Working to a scheduled diary, you'll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installing Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) connections
* Pulling/blowing fibre cables from cabinets or chambers to properties
* Carrying out light excavation works in customer gardens
* Clearing blockages through soft dig methods
* Working on overhead networks where required
* Completing internal installations and setting up equipment (CPE)
* Testing connections and ensuring everything is fully operational
* Talking customers through the service and answering any questions
* Maintaining a high standard of customer service on every job
What we're looking for:
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Comfortable with manual work and working outdoors
* Willingness to work at height when required
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)
