Assistant Accountant Permanent - Part Time - Tewkesbury £18,780.52 22.5 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday The Role Working closely with the Financial Accountant and the wider Finance Team, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business while ensuring accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a varied role that combines property accounting responsibilities with wider finance support tasks. Key Responsibilities Maintain financial records including bank postings and reconciliations Raise tenant rent invoices and manage associated credit control activities Prepare month-end accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Balance intercompany accounts Assist with annual audit requirements Transfer farmer milk intake data into relevant systems and spreadsheets Perform supplier statement reconciliations using automated processes Upload BACS payment files to the bank What Were Looking For Strong attention to detail with a high level of numerical accuracy Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively Good team player who is willing to support colleagues AAT Level 3 or Level 4 preferred Strong IT skills including Excel and Word Experience using Sage accounting systems (Sage 200 desirable) Why Join?
