Job Position – Procurement Manager

Position Close Date – 27 September 2025

Aeralife is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to lead procurement functions across our network of 11 Residential Aged Care Homes. This is a critical leadership role reporting to the Head of Asset Management & Procurement, responsible for the full procurement lifecycle – from strategy development and market analysis to contract negotiation and supplier performance management.

This role requires regular travel to operational sites across Victoria and New South Wales. If you have experience in the aged care or healthcare sector, and a proven ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders this could be a right opportunity for you.


Responsibilities

* Support Product Category Managers in developing robust category plans through cost analysis, supplier research, and market data.
* Maintain and manage product lists and pricing within the ARM / Epicor procurement system.
* Classify expenditure into relevant procurement categories and support the development of sourcing strategies.
* Lead procurement and tender processes, from documentation to evaluation and negotiation.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure end-user needs are reflected in procurement strategies.
* Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance.
* Identify opportunities for contract or supplier consolidation and cost efficiencies.
* Conduct ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support strategic decisions.


What You Will Bring (Essential)

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Procurement Management is essential.
* Previous experience in contract and category management in a medium to large multi-site health sector organisation.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
* High-level analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Proficiency in procurement systems and tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. Epicor).
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and develop working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to travel regularly to various locations across VIC and NSW as required.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check.


Desirable

* Knowledge and experience in the aged care sector.
* Tertiary qualification in procurement, contract management, business, health or related discipline.
