Job description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join our well-established and growing air conditioning specialist. This is a mobile role covering Oxfordshire and surrounding areas, working across a diverse mix of commercial and domestic sites. You will be responsible for the complete servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of air conditioning systems, with exposure to refrigeration equipment. Your expertise will ensure that clients receive reliable, high-quality service and that systems operate at peak efficiency. Working independently while contributing to a close-knit team, you will manage your own schedule, respond to both planned and reactive call-outs, and maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer care throughout the region. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and fault-find air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive call-outs in a timely manner Diagnose faults accurately and complete high-quality repairs to restore system functionality Work on split systems and VRF/VRV systems with confidence and precision Complete accurate service reports and documentation for all work undertaken Provide excellent customer service at all times, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term relationships Work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team environment Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain compliance with industry standards Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who bring proven experience as a mobile Air Conditioning Service Engineer with a strong track record across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments. You should possess deep technical knowledge of split systems and VRF/VRV systems, combined with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. Experience & Expertise Required: Proven experience as a mobile Air Conditioning Service Engineer Experience across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments Strong knowledge of split systems and VRF/VRV systems Refrigerant Handling qualification (C&G 2079 or equivalent) NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Full UK driving licence Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Qualities & Work Approach: Excellent communication and time-management skills High standards of workmanship and customer care Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Proactive approach to health and safety compliance Professional demeanor and reliability in all client interactions Desirable: Experience using Daikin Service Checker or similar diagnostic software Desirable: Knowledge of refrigeration systems Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, and/or CSCS cards Role Impact & Success: In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping air conditioning systems running smoothly for businesses and homeowners across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
