We are seeking to appoint an Operations and Business Development Manager to join our senior management team, working closely with the Creative Director initially for 3 days per week to shape the future of this vibrant organisation. Salary will be negotiable. The ideal candidate will lead on commercial development and income generation, maximising the use of the organisation’s assets. This candidate will be focused and have strong management skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to develop and successfully execute strategies.
Responsibilities
* Uphold and strengthen the organisation’s Christian ethos and values.
* Lead on commercial development and income generation, maximising the use of all available assets.
* Oversee the management and compliance of a large building, including Health & Safety, operational licences, and insurances.
* Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help organisation expand
* Take responsibility for the internal HR function and liaise with our external HR provider.
* Support the Creative Director in planning and delivering capital development projects.
* Manage other staff towards achieving these goals
Person Specification
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (essential)
* 3 - 4 years' prior business development experience, ideally in the charity or arts sector (essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills (essential)
* Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies (desirable)
* Focused and goal-oriented (essential)
* Experience in managing people, supporting and encouraging their development (essential)
