Overview
Westmorland and Furness Facilities Team at Kendal Town Hall require a Business Support Officer to support the Town Hall Team Leader with the day-to-day administration and operation of the Town Hall.
Responsibilities
* Communicate with members of the public and professionals primarily via phone and email; strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
* Provide administrative support to the Town Hall Team Leader and the wider team.
* Assist with administration, invoicing, compiling job sheets, stock ordering and information gathering; experience with financial systems such as E5 is desirable.
* liaise with the public and external stakeholders to assist in the booking and management of external and internal bookings.
* Be flexible and prepared to contribute to various workstreams; support events at Kendal Town Hall as required.
What we are looking for / Qualifications
* Experience in administration, invoicing, compiling job sheets, stock ordering, information gathering.
* Experience with financial systems such as E5 is desirable.
* Strong eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with the public and external stakeholders.
* Flexibility and willingness to get involved in various workstreams and events.
