The Kitchen Porter Responsibilities include:
7. Working in busy production kitchens
8. Assisting with basic food preparation and service
9. Assisting with the clear down and closure of the kitchen
10. Use of large and small dishwashers as well as washing by hand where required
11. Maintaining the overall high standars of cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchens and undertaking roles as requested to do so by their Head Chef
Ideal Kitchen Porter Candidates will have the following requirements:
12. Previous experience in a similar kitchen role
13. An ENHANCED CRIMINAL RECORDS CHECK
14. Food Safety Qualification or the desire to undertake this qualification
15. Excellent communication skills
16. Ability to work under presure in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
17. Excellent organisational skills and keen eye for detail and high cleanliness standards
18. Good team player as well as ability to work on own initiative
19. Take pride in your work
