We are looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join our client’s team. This is a hands-on role responsible for stock control, order picking, goods movement and supporting production operations to ensure materials are available when needed.
Key Duties:
* Pick and prepare parts accurately for production teams.
* Pack and dispatch customer orders to a high standard.
* Monitor stock levels and carry out regular stock checks.
* Receive, store and move goods safely across the site.
* Update stock records and maintain accurate inventory data.
* Liaise with purchasing and production teams regarding stock availability.
* Assist with yard organisation and deliveries using FLT equipment.
* Support continuous improvement of stock and warehouse processes.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in stores, warehouse, or stock control environments preferred.
* Good attention to detail and basic computer skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy or bulky items.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
* Experience with SAP, barcode scanners, or Kanban systems is advantageous but not essential.
