Job Description — Graduate Electrical Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join a growing building services consultancy. You will support the delivery of mechanical and electrical design and project management services across a variety of building projects, from concept through to completion. This role provides excellent exposure to consultancy work and practical engineering delivery in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with electrical engineering design for building services projects, including lighting, power distribution, earthing & bonding, and compliance with regulations.
Produce technical calculations, schematic drawings, and specifications using CAD and engineering software.
Support senior engineers in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, risk assessments, and tender documentation.
Coordinate with mechanical, public health, and structural engineering colleagues to deliver integrated design solutions.
Help manage project deliverables to meet programme milestones and quality standards.
What You’ll Learn

Compliance with UK standards and regulations, including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
Interdisciplinary coordination and client engagement skills.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong technical foundation in electrical systems and building services.
Proficiency with technical software (CAD/Revit, electrical calculation tools) is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
