We are now seeking an exceptional Deputy Head of Department to drive standards, inspire teams, and deliver outstanding outcomes for our learners.
The Role
* Support the Head of Department in all aspects of leadership and management, particularly around attendance, quality, teaching, learning and assessment, to secure outstanding outcomes for all learners.
* Performance manage staff within the department and ensure their professional practice develops.
* Lead curriculum development, including the creation and validation of new programmes and the periodic review and re‑validation of existing programmes.
* Ensure learner retention, achievement, success and progression rates exceed the national average year‑on‑year.
Our ideal candidate will have evidence of high performance in previous roles and relevant work experience in the sector to underpin subject leadership with credibility and authority.
