Job Overview
RSR is recruiting a team of Investigators for a UK‑based Police Force. The role is a full‑time contract, 3 months initial, with possible extension. It requires office‑based work at one of the following locations: Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Exeter.
Compensation & Working Hours
£20.98p per hour PAYE. Full‑time, Monday to Friday. Start and finish times can be any between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, total 40 hours per week including lunch breaks.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect and examine evidence from victims, witnesses, suspects, open source, intelligence, digital media and other sources, ensuring admissibility.
* Interview witnesses and suspects using appropriate techniques.
* Review CCTV and perform facial recognition and brief officers.
* Link offences and prepare intelligence packages to support arrests, especially in retail theft and business robbery.
* Conduct risk and needs assessments; provide victim support and formulate victim plans as required.
* Prepare investigative outcome reports, build case files and manage disclosure of material.
Eligibility & Qualifications
* Must hold PIP Level 1 accreditation.
* Recent relevant experience within the last 3–5 years.
* Experience in complex information gathering and problem solving.
* Detailed understanding of the criminal justice system.
* Will receive NPPV2 (Full) security clearance.
