This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, helping them to re-engage with education, build confidence, and achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions in core subjects (English, Maths, and/or other areas depending on expertise). Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning styles and needs, including SEMH and SEND. Provide academic and pastoral support, encouraging resilience and self-esteem. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies to support student progress. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and outcomes. We are looking for someone who: Has teaching or tutoring experience, ideally with young people outside mainstream education. Can demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong behaviour management strategies. Is flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Holds relevant qualifications (QTS desirable but not essential; experience in tutoring/mentoring also considered). Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
