We are recruiting for the position of Lead Health and Safety Environmental Officer for a 12-month contract. The role itself is based on site, so there is a requirement to have to attend site 5 days per week.
SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks.
Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.
As a Lead Health and Safety Environmental Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
Essential Skills
Environmental Management
Health and Safety Professional, Experienced working in H&S roles
NEBOSH: National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Or equivalent)
NEBOSH Fire and Safety Certificate
Ability to work flexibly
Proven ability to achieve quick results.
Desirable Skills
Can understand JSPs.
IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management
Leadership experience
ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Training
