The salary band is £25,000 to £30,000 a year full-time equivalent, so it would be pro-ratad for the days youd work with us. About the job Working directly with our Chief Financial Officer (great exposure for you) these are the things youll be doing: Looking after our company bank accounts Processing financial transactions, including raising and paying invoices, processing receipts and expenses Following defined processes and using specific systems to control, record, and process income and expenditure through the business Controlling the sales ledger and taking action to recover any overdue fees Supporting the leadership team to monitor expenses, including providing cost centre reports for budget holders Helping to make sure the business data, systems and processes run smoothly, and performing routine month end procedures, reconciliations and invoicing runs Supporting the leadership team to prepare income, cash and profit forecasts and year end accounts About you Wed love to hear from you if: You have your AAT already, youre maybe part-qualified or you just know your stuff from experience You have experience of finance administration activities already including bank reconciliations, accounts payables and accounts receivables You have a good understanding of VAT and inter-group transactions You have a good working knowledge of QuickBooks and / or Xero You love the details and rarely miss them Youre analytical and capable of seeing the real issues, and thinking through to how to solve them Youve got epic communication skills and youre hungry to learn new things Youre able to work independently but know when to ask for help Location Were looking for someone to join us in our new office space in the Bristol (BS16) area. Wed like you to be in the office most of the time, with the chance to work from home occasionally. And yes. There are great transport links, bike storage, and free parking.
