As a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Water Utility Division, you’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure that supports clean water, wastewater treatment, flood protection, and environmental resilience. You’ll grow your technical and project management skills while contributing to projects that make a real difference locally and globally.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a talented team of engineers and technical specialists working across the full project lifecycle—from feasibility to commissioning. Your responsibilities may include:
* Designing with purpose: Prepare and review electrical and ICA (EICA) designs for water and wastewater infrastructure, including both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets.
* Creating technical outputs: Develop drawings and documentation such as plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture, and I/O schedules.
* Collaborating across disciplines: Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.
* Driving innovation: Use digital tools and data-driven approaches to enhance design quality and efficiency.
* Growing with support: Gain exposure to project and commercial management, supported by mentoring, training, and our Early Careers Professionals Network.
Candidate Specification / Qualifications
We are looking for committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion and a desire to make a difference. To be eligible for this opportunity, you should have some relevant experience (excluding placements) and hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one, in one of the following degree disciplines:
* Electrical Engineering
* Electrical & Electronic Engineering
* Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
* Any other electrical engineering related degree
