About the Role
We are looking for a part-time Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care, 3 days a week.
At Optika, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly, personal, and professional service to every single customer.
As an Optical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in making that happen by helping patients feel at ease, finding the perfect frames, supporting with dispensing, booking appointments, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Whether you’re experienced in optics or looking to bring your customer service skills into a new environment, this could be the perfect opportunity to join a welcoming team in a practice that really cares about its community.
Here’s a bit of what you’ll be doing:
* Welcoming and assisting patients with a smile
* Helping customers choose frames that suit their style and needs
* Supporting with spectacle dispensing and adjustments
* Managing appointments and patient records
* Ensuring the shop floor is clean, organised, and inviting

* We are a team of 6
* The role requires you to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with some availability to work Saturdays required
