Job Description
3. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met
4. Accurately process payroll data, including client changes, within agreed timescales
5. Submit RTI Full Payment Submissions (FPS) on or before pay dates
6. Administer workplace pensions, including communications, opt-outs, uploads, and payments
7. Respond to client queries promptly, professionally, and accurately
8. Maintain clear and up-to-date records of all client communications and payroll activity
9. Monitor workflow systems and ensure daily task completion
10. Manage additional work requests, ensuring they are quoted and approved in advance
11. Support invoicing processes and ensure timely billing
12. Maintain compliance with internal procedures, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements
The Successful Applicant
13. Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within a bureau or accountancy practice
14. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including RTI and workplace pensions
15. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
16. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
17. Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
18. Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
