Job responsibilities To have overall accountability of the site, being visible and present for all of the staff members working at that location. To follow Suffolk GP Federation, and NHSE guidelines to ensure the practice is working in line with best practice. To keep up to date with national and local general practice changes, and to support the senior management team in implementing these changes where necessary. To ensure that adequate breaks are taken by all staff members in line with the rota, and with support from the Workforce Manager. To follow Suffolk GP Federations sickness policy and process for all staff working at that location, and to liaise with the Workforce Manager where necessary. To conduct and support staff members with return-to-work interviews after absence occurrences, and to document these effectively. To support the reception and administration teams with workload in the instance of sickness or annual leave. To deputise for other Site Leads in their absence, being available for staff working at another practice location to contact. To support with smartcard requests for staff members, including getting a new smart card, and unlocking smartcards. To deal with Ice requests in an efficient manner. To be responsible for all building checks at the location, and to escalate these to the Deputy Practice Manager / Estates Administrator where necessary. To provide inductions to new staff specific to the location, covering health and safety and fire safety. To support with Locum staff inductions, delivering a locum pack and helping with their IT log ins where necessary.
