Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to help support operations in Cheltenham and Worcester.

Your New Role:
1. Continually seek to increase reliability and efficiency of distribution processes.
2. Develop & execute predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptimes.
3. Develop small improvement projects & support larger continuous improvement projects.
4. Attend to breakdowns, undertake fault finding, and implement robust solutions.
5. Take ownership of site facilities & ensure required maintenance programs are met.
6. Manage equipment spare part stocks & ensure all work activities are recorded.
7. Support external contractors visiting site for servicing activities.
8. Ensure 5S standards are met and maintained at the local level.
9. Adhere strictly to health and safety policies, regulations & statutory requirements.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Proven experience in a maintenance environment.
* A recognized engineering qualification (e.g. HNC, BTEC, City & Guilds or NVQ).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self-motivated, organized, attentive to detail.
* Good PC skills (SAP and CMMS would be an advantage, training provided).
* Rotating working patterns, including night shifts and weekends.
