Senior Occupational Therapists with empathy and drive to make a difference, in a dynamic and forward-thinking Reablement Therapy Service contributing to a wide range of service areas including Reablement, Equipment and Adaptations and Moving and Handling.
We need permanent, full time Occupational Therapists to work in East Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Short Term Support Service, Occupational Therapy team.

Reablement Teams focus on working closely with our Reablement Provider, other Lancashire County Council teams ICAT as well as collaborative working with our local Community Health & Social Care partners to prevent hospital admission and promote independence.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the Reablement Therapy Service and work across service areas including Reablement, Equipment and Adaptations and Moving and Handling as part of the Adult Services Short Term Support Service.
Collaborate with the Reablement Provider, Lancashire County Council teams ICAT, and community health and social care partners to prevent hospital admissions and promote independence.
Qualifications and Requirements
Occupational Therapists are required to be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) to be appointed, or have applied to register with the HCPC.
Disclosure requirements: The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended). If successful, you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure.
You may be required to provide a car for use in connection with duties, and you must be insured for business use. We may consider applicants who cannot drive because of a disability.
