Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Information Manager (m/f/d) to join our Global Medical Affairs team.
The Medical Information Manager represents Valneva’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned products and relevant therapeutic areas, including those of development products. The responsible person has to ensure medico-scientific integrity and compliance of those activities with relevant guidelines and regulations. Additionally, your key responsibilities are:
1. Serve as a medical consultant between Valneva and its customers regarding medical information, technical complaints, and pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring scientific integrity and regulatory compliance
2. Represent Valneva’s medical and scientific expertise for assigned products and relevant therapeutic areas, including development-stage products
3. Manage global customer service inquiries: triage and handle medical queries, drug safety topics, and quality complaints in line with applicable SOPs
4. Provide, document, and track medical/scientific information related to assigned and development products, ensuring accurate scientific communication
5. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners ( distribution partners, PV/MI service providers) involved in medical information, pharmacovigilance, and quality assurance
6. Support with the implementation of AI-driven digitalization of Medical Information Service
7. Support with the creation of FAQ documents and training materials
8. Deliver product training sessions for external partners and internal teams
9. Prepare quarterly medical information reports and statistics, incorporating data from both internal sources and external collaborators
10. Conduct literature reviews and screen travel sites for relevant medical information articles (as backup)
11. Act as back-up for Head of Global Medical Information
Requirements
12. University degree in Immunology, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences with relevant professional experience
13. At least 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance and/or medical information
14. Solid understanding of GCP, GVP, and applicable regulatory frameworks
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German & English (further languages as a plus)
16. High level of commitment, reliability, and attention to detail
17. Results-driven mindset with a strong sense of urgency
18. Ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn and grow
19. Confident in representing Valneva and sharing expert knowledge on assigned products and therapeutic areas
20. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented approach
21. Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic, and internationally connected environment

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € gross per year based on full-time employment. However our salaries are market oriented and in line with your qualifications and experience.
