HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Wolverhampton People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a driver of a LGV Class 2 HIAB, Category C HIAB or a Lorry-mounted Crane. Shifts: • Monday – Friday • Start times between 05:00 and 07:00 Rates of Pay: • £16.00 - £19.00 per hour Benefits: As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will receive: • Ongoing, long-term position with a leading logistics provider • Competitive rates of pay • Weekly pay • Ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Safely operating a Category C vehicle with a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane for loading and unloading goods Deliver goods to various locations, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery Conduct pre and post operations checks on the vehicle and equipment Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with all regulations Provide excellent customer service during deliveries Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained liaise with dealership with service Adhere to health and safety guidelines and transport regulations Essential Skills: As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Hold a valid HIAB/lorry mounted crane qualification No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Training: • Training provided as and when required • Ongoing industry-related training and ongoing support Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity, apply today or contact our recruitment team for more information.
