About the role
Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a school cover Supervisor to work in our local secondary schools in Selby, York and surrounding areas. This is an immediate start and will be working on a flexible basis. The role will be to assist and support in Key Stage 3 & 4 classes either as an assistant or delivering pre-set work in the absence of the teacher. You do not need to hold a teaching qualification, but must demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in any previous role (teaching, youth worker, sports coach, support worker, summer camps, voluntary etc) .
This is an excellent way of getting paid Teaching experience prior to doing Teacher Training

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Classroom supervisor you will:
1. Be degree qualified
2. Have a high level in literacy and numeracy
3. Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
4. Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
5. Have excellent classroom management skills

Salary
£375 to £450 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
