Head of Services
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Services to lead the development, growth, and operational delivery of services across the island of Ireland.
Reporting to the Director of Operations & Governance, you will play a key leadership role in shaping service excellence, strengthening compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care across multiple services
* Drive service development, growth, and strategic initiatives
* Support and coach managers to achieve strong operational and quality outcomes
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland
* Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits, and governance processes
* Build strong relationships with regulators, commissioners, and stakeholders
* Oversee service performance, KPIs, and organisational objectives
* Support tendering, service expansion, and new service development
* Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* Minimum 4 years’ senior management experience in health & social care
* Experience managing multi‑site services and managers
* Proven track record in regulated services, compliance, and quality improvement
* Experience working with regulators and external stakeholders
* Strong background in service development and organisational growth
Qualifications
* Registered nurse, OR a professional social work qualification OR allied health professions OR equivalent.
* Postgraduate qualification in Leadership, Management, or similar
* Evidence of continuous professional development
