We're recruiting a Recycler HGV Driver to support essential wastewater, recycling and infrastructure operations. This role suits someone safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in demanding environments with specialist vehicles and equipment. About the Client: We're supporting a well-established drainage and wastewater services provider delivering critical maintenance, cleaning and infrastructure support across water and wastewater treatment sites. The business has built a strong reputation for quality, safety compliance and long-term customer partnerships, with ongoing investment in fleet, equipment and training. What You'll Be Doing: * Operating HGV and specialist recycling vehicles (ADR where qualified) * Supporting sewer cleans, wet well maintenance, siphon works and wastewater asset operations * Working across wastewater and water treatment works as part of project and reactive works * Undertaking manual handling tasks including hoses, equipment and debris removal * Completing vehicle checks, defect reporting and basic maintenance * Following RAMS documentation and strict health & safety procedures * Liaising with customers on site to provide updates and support delivery * Completing job tickets, vehicle checks and timesheets accurately * Participating in an on-call rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays * Maintaining vehicles, equipment and PPE to required standards What We Need From You: * Relevant clean and valid HGV licence categories * Valid CPC card * Full clean UK driving licence * At least 2 years' HGV driving experience preferred * Wastewater or utilities experience desirable but not essential * Comfortable working with raw sewage * Strong understanding of health & safety requirements * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Flexible approach to working hours in a reactive environment * Willingness to undertake further training including CSCS and Confined Space * Right to work in the UK If you'd like to discuss the role in more detail, please call Beth on 07719 983 823 or email beth.allen@hirecracker.com .
