Astute's Renewables team exclusively retained with a progressive solar plant security business. Together, we're looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join the specialist renewable energy team. Whilst the office is in Northampton, this role will primarily be field based throughout the UK.

Responsibilities and duties of the Project Engineer role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:
1. Working outdoors in all weather conditions (work is rarely cancelled due to weather)
2. Carrying out groundworks, including small excavations and pole installations
3. Mounting electrical boxes and dry-fitting electrical components
4. Performing electrical wiring, splicing, and working with Cat 6 / Cat 7 cabling
