Sewell Wallis are working with a fast growing, innovative company based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, in their search for a Financial Accountant.
This is a unique Financial Accountant role with a commercial focus, which presents a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified candidate to work in a varied, progressive role.
What will you be doing?
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support month end and year end closing activities.
Provide support for internal and external audits
Assist with the preparation and presentation of budgets and forecasts
Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations ready for review
Oversight of HMRC reporting
Provide support to the Financial Controller and wider finance teamWhat skills will you need?
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Experience in manufacturing/engineering sector (desirable)
Able to work on your own initiative, independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with finance and non finance managers
Excel (Vlookups, Pivots)What's on offer?
