Location: Wellington Hours: 42.5 per week
* Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
Overview
The warehouse operative is responsible for ensuring all products are completed to a high standard before dispatch. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, practical skills and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out finishing tasks such as sanding, trimming, polishing, cleaning or surface preparation.
* Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
* Operate hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment safely and effectively.
* Work to production schedules and meet daily output targets.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
* Complete required documentation such as quality checks and production logs.
* Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
1. Experience in a finishing, production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
