Sales Specialist – Electrochemistry

You’ll leverage your deep understanding of electrochemical systems to engage with cutting-edge researchers, engineers, and industrial clients, helping them identify the right tools and solutions to advance their work. If you’re keen to work in a role like this, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
* Build and nurture relationships with academic institutions, research laboratories, and industrial customers.
* Present and demonstrate the company’s product portfolio, emphasizing their application in battery technology and energy research.
* Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
* Collaborate with the internal team to deliver exceptional customer support and address technical inquiries.
* Provide market feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
What You’ll Bring:
* An electrochemistry academic (a BSc or higher preferred)
* An interest in working in a career outside of the laboratory working in technical sales
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Results-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation and closing skills
* Ability to travel within the North of England (2-3 days per week)
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
