Job Description:
Protocol Education is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to work in Newcastle schools.
Salary: £89.35-105 per day (dependent on experience)
Full-time: Monday-Friday (6.5 hour days), term time only

If you have a passion for supporting mental health, this is the role for you! You will support students across Newcastle with their mental health.
This is an entry-level role; personal or professional experience supporting someone with mental wellbeing is beneficial, but a passion for supporting student wellbeing is essential.
The role includes:
* Supporting KS 3-4 students with personal and academic development
* Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or SEMH
* Building positive relationships with students
* Supporting classroom teachers
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
* Passion for supporting student mental health
* Residency in Sunderland or surrounding area

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent role later.
