Job Description:

Qualifications and Skills:
* Degree in a science-related subject (Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or Combined Sciences)
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Passion for science and commitment to student success
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential)
* Proactive and positive approach to teaching and student development
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons
* Create an inclusive learning environment promoting curiosity, critical thinking, and academic progress
* Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, tailoring support as needed
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and teaching strategies
* Apply effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom environment
